To add a logo or other image to a dashboard. The method described in this article allows the image to appear wherever the dashboard is seen: in PDF, on Tableau Server, inserted into Microsoft Office documents, and so on. Add an object to a dashboard Step 1 Open a workbook that contains a dashboard, or add a dashboard to an existing workbook. Step 2 From the Objects pane (at the bottom left of the dashboard), drag Image onto the dashboard. When black bars appear on the edges at the location where you want to place the logo image, release the mouse button. Step 3 In the Open dialog box, browse to the location of the logo image file, select it, and click Open. The logo appears in the location where you dragged the image object.
