OBIEE Upgradation Patch 11.1.1.7.0 to 11.1.1.7.1

                           OBIEE UPGRADATION

Download the Patch file from https://support.oracle.com in that you to download these patch files

For up gradation of OBIEE 11.1.1.7.0 to OBIEE 11.1.1.7.1 .Before that make sure that all the services should be stopped

Caution: don’t start the services

First unzip the each file’s separately in Oracle_BI1 (Home Directory)

Now go to CMD

In that type these commands

set ORACLE_HOME=C:\prod_mwhome\Oracle_BI1

set PATH=%ORACLE_HOME%\bin;%PATH%

set JAVA_HOME=%ORACLE_HOME%\jdk

set PATH=%JAVA_HOME%\bin;%PATH%

set PATH=%ORACLE_HOME%\OPatch;%PATH%

Note :  In the above command  ORACLE_HOME path is Oracle_BI1

Now to that particular directory

After that you have use a command called opatch apply

Wait for a while the process will start

After completion it will display opatch succeeded

Similarly do the same process for rest of the directory

After completion of all the patches start all the services
