OBIEE (Oracle Product)It's a collection of different software, with different user interface paradigms and different metadata repository, with a very complex architecture.
Business Objects (SAP Product)Good tool but it leaves to do manually some task (i.e. combining different query)
Microstrategy (Microstrategy Product)A great sql generation engine with unified metadata. It requires good level skills to be productive, but it's the best enterprise level tool.

The selection of the these tools depends on the scenario and business cases.
If client has Oracle ERP or Siebel CRM as their OLTP and they want to integrate their BI solution then Only OBIEE.
If the source has SAP as source then COGNOS or BO.
If the source has cube reporting then Cognos BI.
