OBIEE 11g Dimension Browse
This
is about the new “Dimension Browse” checkbox within the logical table source
(LTS) dialog.
This
is that should use this when you want to specify that your LTS can be used in
queries which don’t include a Fact column. That is queries which hit only your
dimension table.
The
main use for this would be if you had a number of LTS making up a single
logical table and you wanted to specify a particular one as containing the
‘master’, or more complete, data set.
This
option is synonymous with the isDimOnly tag as generated in the
repository definition XML.
