MIGRATION OF DATA FROM JSON FILE TO DB BY ODI 12C

>> ODI 12C comes with JSON Support, meaning you can now use JSON as data source.

Let me Explain with a simple Example:

My Eg JSON File:

>> Connect to ODI studio and create a Data Server under Complex File ..

Data Server Configuration:


In JDBC Option, click on search Button and ok to get the JDBC Driver and JDBC URL

Click on Edit nXSD

Click on Next

Provide  your File name and path

Check JSON Interchange Format

Click on Next

Provide Path of your File

Remaining options leave as default

This is the Preview of XSD File, close wizard..(click on Finish)

 

Now in your File Location XSD file also created..

Go to Properties, Provide file path and xsd file path(dtd)..


Provide Schema ( User defined),Translator type as json..

Test Connection

Ensure it’s a successful connection

Data Server configuration completed successfully..

Now Create Physical Schema:

 

Logical Schema

Topology set up has been done successfully..

Now create Model and reverse engineer the tables

Now choose the  required table for mapping

Source table

Now create a target table

Design a Mapping as per requirement

 

Save and execute the mapping

 

Check the data in target table..

 

********** JSON File data has been Migrated successfully to the DB****************
