Import and export of Objects from Informatica to Informatica

To Export Select the objects and right click on objects>>Export , if you want to export all dependencies you can export Workflows all dependencies will be exported ..

Click on close and save file ..

To import objects to informatica , Go to Repository Manager (R) on Tool bar click on Repository >> Import objects , a Window will open like below

Browse your file… and click on next

>> You can select what ever objects you want to import and click on add, if you want import all objects click on Add all..

>> Select your destination folder or create it..

>> Click on Ok & Next..

 

>> Defining a new rule is optional ( as per requirement you can define), Once done click on next..

 

 

Here, Session Configuration is already exist in destination Folder hence its highlighted with red mark, based on requirement you can replace, rename and reuse to be more clear compare conflicts and tick on resolution..

Click on next… Ensure all your objects are copied.. close it..

The status should be resolved, if  you want to recheck/edit click on action>view/edit and save it…click on import..

Importing is on progress..

Once imported click on done…

Check in your folder either its imported or not correctly as per requirement..
