[OBIEE 10g] Using Bins

 

        Using Bins in OBIEE 10g

Step 1- Drag two columns Manufacturers Name and Measure Value.

Step 2- Click on fx of column Manufacturers Name.

Step 3- Click on the Bin tab next to column formula in the below window. Click Add Bin and values which you want to group together.

Step 4- Give Bin the required name which would be displayed in your report.

Step 5- The Result would be as below

Step 6- You can further drill into Top Manufacturers( In my case it is an hierarchical Column)
