Adding a Web Page to a Dashboard

This explains how to include a Web site on a dashboard by adding a Web object in Tableau Desktop.  Step 1 With the dashboard tab displayed, in the Dashboard window, under Objects, select Web Page and drag it to the location where you want it on the dashboard. Release it when a black line appears on the edge of the dashboard at the selected location. Step 2 In the Edit URL dialog box, type the URL of the Web page you are adding. To edit this URL at any time: Step 1 Right-click the top border of the Web object and select Edit URL. Step 2 In the Edit URL dialog box, edit the URL or replace it completely. Step 3 When finished, click OK. To keep the border of the Web object visible: Right-click the top border of the Web object and select Show Border.   For visual clarity, the Internet Explorer navigation buttons do not appear on the dashboard; however, you can use the site's own links and Internet Explorer keyboard shortcuts such as pressing the Backspace key to go to the previous Web page.
